The Chesco Catholic Crusaders jumped out to an early 26-0 lead and held on to defeat St. Gabriels 32-25. With the win the Crusaders moved to 5-3 on the season. Tyler Francis opened the scoring with a 20 yard scamper around the right end to put the Crusaders up 8-0. Drew Gunther connected with Cameron McCole for a 23 yard TD pass on the next drive. Francis scored on a 70 yard jaunt on the last play of the half to make it 20-0. The Crusaders took the 2nd half kickoff and took only four plays to score on a 12 yard run by Kyle Stine to make the score 26-0. McCole ended the scoring for the Crusaders on a 51 yard strike from Gunther.

The Crusader defense was stout in the first half, led by Hayden Knighton who recorded 13 tackles on the day. Stephen Long picked up two sacks and knocked down two passes from the defensive end position. Kurt Pollard and Francis added 6 tackles on the day for the Crusaders.

The Crusaders travel to Holy Cross for a shot at the Class B
